Ilısu Thermal Spring and Historical Thermal Spring
About & Visitor Guide
History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Ilısu Thermal Spring, boiling within the borders of Ilısu Village in the south of Göynücek, is a well-established healing center used since the ancient Roman and Seljuk periods. Centuries-old willow trees and historical stone troughs right next to the water source bear the traces of this ancient use.
