The biggest visual and monumental symbol of the park, which establishes the urban green bond between Sıhhiye and Kızılay with an area of 36 thousand square meters, is the world-famous "Hands Statue" (Sculpture of Solidarity and Peace) by master sculptor Metin Yurdanur. This monument, where two gigantic human hands are clasped towards the sky in friendship, brotherhood and solidarity, combined with the fountains of the pool, symbolizes the capital's memory of justice and democracy. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features The park is located on the flat ground of the Sıhhiye basin, at an altitude of 855 meters. With its centuries-old eastern plane trees, horse chestnuts, ash trees and ornamental pool, it offers a shady and cool oasis in the middle of the busy city centre.
