Çamlık Recreation Area, covering the southern slopes of Elmadağ district center, is a huge pine forest oasis in the middle of the steppe, which has been greened with the afforestation campaign initiated since the first years of the Republic. It is the most established recreation area where district residents and capital residents who want to escape from the noise of the city have met for picnics, walks and fresh air for decades. Samovar tables set under the pine trees and summer festivals have a deep place in the memories of the local people. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features
The altitude is 1,220 meters. It is a hill plateau area on a dominant hillside, covered with larch and cedar trees, with plenty of oxygen and light winds. Visiting Hours, Days and Entrance Fees
•Entrance Fee:It is a municipal recreation and forest area open to the public and entrance is completely free.•Visiting Hours and Days:Open 7 days a week between 08:00 - 23:00.•Rules, Safety and Baby Stroller/Disabled Access: To prevent forest fires, fires should only be lit in designated barbecue and stove areas.
