İçören Village, located in the northeast of Kahramankazan, has a deep-rooted history with its registered archaeological mound rising on the outskirts and traditional village texture. Mound ruins dating back to the Bronze Age and Phrygian periods prove that the region has been an uninterrupted agricultural and settlement center for thousands of years. Village legends say that the treasures of the old kings are hidden in the mound and that the name of the village comes from this sheltered inner castle settlement.
