Kumpınar Culture Park & ​​Pond

History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Kumpınar Culture Park and Pond, located right next to Kahramankazan district center, is the most popular urban recreation area of the district with its artificial water pond combining green and blue, rest islands and sports fields. The park, which takes its name from the historical Kumpınar spring water boiling in the region, was a natural watering hole where caravans and horses were watered in the past. The park, which was landscaped by the municipality and transformed into a modern living center; It gives peace to visitors of all ages with its pond where swans and ducks swim, suspension bridges and Çınaraltı cafeterias. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features The park is located at an altitude of 890 meters, on a flat bottom fed by the side branches of the Ova Stream.
