About & Visitor Guide
History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Located within the borders of Pursaklar's historical Saray District, Saray Pond and Nature Recreation Park is a well-established nature and water range where caravans and palace horses were rested during the Ottoman period. The campus takes its name "Palace" from the hunting lodges and mansions built by statesmen in the region during the Ottoman period; With a comprehensive recreation project by the municipality, it was brought to the capital with walking paths, wooden viewing piers and picnic areas around the pond. Wild ducks swimming in the pond and century-old willows on the shore are the favorite shelter of families who want to escape from the busy pace of the capital and find peace by the water. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features The pond area is located at an altitude of 960 meters. Surrounded by willow, poplar and pine trees, the water mirror creates a cool and fresh air corridor in summer. Visiting Hours, Days and Entrance Fees
