History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Kanlıbahçe Martyrdom is a sacred monument built in memory of the sons of the country who were martyred in the massacre carried out by the Greek occupation forces against the people of Germencik and the heroes of the national struggle during the 1919-1922 War of Independence.
