Product Story, Production Method & Cultural Heritage

A delicacy made by wrapping a mixture of fresh oiled tulum cheese, bulgur, butter, spring onion and mint in boiled fresh chard (beet) leaves, and baking it in a casserole with butter and milk cream on top.

History: The centuries-old gastronomic heritage of Bayburt, the land of Dede Korkut, which is the main dish of wedding and holiday tables.

Production Method: Fresh chard leaves are boiled; Curd and bulgur mixture is wrapped tightly and fried in the oven like a pomegranate.
