  • •Anatolian Seljuk Sultan II. Bayburt Grand Mosque, built during the reign of Gıyaseddin Mesud (1298), is the most established monumental place of worship of the city rising on the banks of the Çoruh River.
  • •The building's minaret with a zigzag motif, made of turquoise and eggplant purple glazed bricks, is a unique masterpiece of Seljuk tile art in the Eastern Black Sea basin.
