History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore El-Aman Inn (16th Century), built by Hüsrev Pasha to shelter the caravans and merchants in the Rahva Plain during winter conditions, is one of the largest caravanserais in Anatolia, with 55 rooms, a bath, a masjid and a huge courtyard with porticoes. Today, it serves as Bitlis Eren University Cultural Center. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features It is in the wide Rahva Plain pass, at an altitude of 1820 meters above sea level.
