History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Ayazma Beach (named after the historical Aya Paraskevi holy water spring next to it) is Turkey's most popular island beach with Bozcaada's world-famous fine golden sand, turquoise cool and clean sea, water sports and beach facilities.
