History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Çayır Bay is a wide coastline located on the northern coast of Bozcaada, which has received the Troas winds uninterruptedly since ancient times. Today, the bay is one of Türkiye's most popular kitesurfing and windsurfing centers and is a favorite of professional athletes and surfing schools. The coast, which was referred to as the island shore from where Aiolos, the wind god, sent his breezes in Homer's Iliad during the mythological period, combines nature sports with sea pleasure with its pristine beach.
