Ipsala Rice

Rice with plump, shiny white grains and high rice yield, obtained from Baldo, Cammeo and Osmancık varieties grown on the fertile alluvial delta of the Meriç River.

History: The success of modern and traditional rice farming in the İpsala Plain, which meets approximately one-third of Turkey's rice production.

Production Method: Irrigated with Meriç water in laser leveled paddy pans; Packaged to zero breakage standard with optical sorters.
