History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Görese Canyon and Nature Valley is the most untouched ecotourism and canyoning route of the region, stretching between the deep rock crevices of the Akdağ and Eastern Taurus ranges, with hundreds of meters of vertical rock walls, wild mountain goats, eagle nests, lush oak forests and spring streams gurgling along the canyon.
