History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore The historical İkizevler (Balyamez Mansion), built in the 19th century, located in Hasanbey District in Gümüşhane city center, is the symbol of the city with its traditional double bay window wood-stone architecture. In the mansion, which was restored and converted into the City Museum; The history of silver mining, filigree silver processing art, Ottoman period coins, local clothes and ethnographic living spaces are exhibited.
