  • •It is the eternal resting place of Gazi Abdurrahman Pasha, the powerful Ottoman statesman of the 18th century, who was the governor of Aleppo and Adana.
  • •It was built in the "baldachin" architectural form with a square plan and a dome resting on four massive stone columns. It is one of the most original examples of Eastern Mediterranean Ottoman tomb architecture.
  • •Among the local people, Gazi Abdurrahman Pasha's justice and philanthropy, which protected the region from bandit raids, have been passed down through legends from generation to generation; The tomb is a spiritual stop that has been visited with respect for centuries.
