On Istiklal Street, at the end of the 19th century, II. The historical Meymenet Han, built by the merchants of the Abdulhamid period, is one of the most distinguished registered buildings in Beyoğlu with its magnificent neo-baroque stone facade and ornamented iron balconies. The center, which was restored as an interdisciplinary exhibition and cultural area by the Vehbi Koç Foundation in 2019, was named 'Meşher', which means 'exhibition place / inspected area' in Ottoman.
