History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Tepekule Congress and Exhibition Center, built in Bayraklı by TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers, is one of the most equipped and active culture and arts campuses in Izmir. Anatolian Hall with a capacity of 1,000 people, Prof. Dr. Ekrem Akurgal Open Air Amphitheater hosts theater plays, symphony concerts, international symposiums and contemporary art exhibitions throughout the year with its exhibition galleries and panoramic rooftop restaurant overlooking the Izmir Bay.
