Narlıdere Tangerine Gardens and Ecological Valley

History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Narlıdere Ecological Valley, where the world-famous registered Narlıdere and Seferihisar thin-skinned Satsuma Tangerines are traditionally grown, is a citrus paradise lying at the foot of Çatalkaya Mountain. The gardens, which are painted orange in autumn and winter, keep the agricultural identity of the district alive with the sweet scent of citrus flowers.
