Historical Turabiye Mosque (Seferihisar Ulu Mosque), dating back to the early Ottoman period of the 15th century, is the most established and registered place of worship in the district centre. It has been the spiritual center of the people of Seferihisar for centuries with its rough-hewn stone and brick alternating walls, tile-covered hipped roof, spoliated antique marble column bases, ceiling work with wooden beams and the historical fountain in its courtyard.
