Emek District Çamlık Recreational Area (Çayırova)

History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Emek District Çamlık Recreation Area is a natural grove area located on the northern slopes of Çayırova and consisting of natural red pine and stone pine trees. It was designed by the municipality as a recreation and sports park for families who want to escape from the noisy streets of the city and rest under the resin-scented pine trees. It is known among local residents that the clean air of this pine grove is good for chest diseases and that it has been a resting hill for centuries. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features Located at an altitude of 150 meters, the grove is on a spacious hillside overlooking the Samanlı Mountains and the plain to the south.
