Product Story, Production Method & Cultural Heritage
The world's best quality dried apricot, obtained from Hacıhaliloğlu, Kabaaşı and Soğancı varieties, with a high dry matter (24-28%) and sugar content, dried under the sun by sulfurization or sun dried (naturally brown).
History: Turkey's most valuable agricultural export masterpiece, which alone provides 85% of the world's dried apricot production and is registered by the European Union.
Production Method: It is harvested by the shaking method, its seeds are removed by making 'pattik' and dried in cloth exhibitions under the Malatya sun.
