Historical Bozyazı Castle and Sıtma Pınarı Recreation Area are located in the hinterland of the ancient city of Nagidos, on a dominant hillside of the valley where the Bozyazı Stream flows into the Mediterranean. The castle, which was fortified to control the water resources and caravan routes in the valley during the Roman and Cilician Armenian Kingdom periods, has been the most important meeting and recreation center of the region for centuries, together with the centuries-old cold water source "Malaria Spring" at its foot.

In the castle on the hill, watchtowers and city walls made of cut and rubble stone are still standing.
