Local banana with thin skin, intense scent, sweetness and high potassium, obtained from Dwarf Cavendish and Grand Nain varieties.
History: It was brought from Egypt as an ornamental plant in the 1930s and is the symbol of Anamur, the banana capital of Turkey in the southern microclimate of the Taurus Mountains.
Production Method: It is grown in greenhouses and open gardens; It is yellowed in natural yellowing rooms under the control of ethylene gas.
