Pazar Mosque, which is considered to have been built in the 14th century during the Ilkhanid period, is the oldest surviving historical mosque in the city center of Samsun. It has been located at the center of the city's main trade market for centuries, and has been a sacred place where tradesmen say their morning prayers and open their shutters. Its thick cut stone walls and classical woodwork reflect the simplicity of the Seljuk and principality periods. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features
