  • •Hot Çermik, where troubled people seeking healing have taken shelter for thousands of years since the Roman, Seljuk and Ottoman periods, is one of the most established thermal centers in Anatolia.
  • •Altınkale, built with the calcium carbonate precipitation of thermal sulfur and mineral waters as a sister to the white travertines of Pamukkale, is a unique visual natural wonder with its golden yellow stepped pools.
  • •According to folk tales, it is said that the Seljuk sultans healed their wounds in these golden waters when they returned from expeditions, and that the water offered miraculous cures for rheumatism, joint pain and skin disorders. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features
  • •The altitude is approximately 1,350 meters above sea level. It is a geothermal oasis springing from underground in the middle of a wide steppe plateau on the Sivas-Ankara highway.
