Yalova Open Air Archeology Park and Museum History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore

•It is an open-air museum where rare stone artifacts from the Early Bronze Age, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods, unearthed during archaeological excavations in Yalova and its surroundings, are exhibited.

•Marble sarcophagi, honorary inscriptions, grave steles and architectural column capitals of important ports and thermal centers such as Pylai and Helenopolis in ancient times are exhibited thematically in the park.

•Opened to visitors in 2003, the park is a unique cultural stop on the Marmara coast that brings together thousands of years of stone witnesses of history with modern city life. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features
