History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Aydıncık Amethyst Stone Processing Workshop and Visitor Center is the center that exhibits the unique geological richness of Aydıncık, where Türkiye's highest quality and richest semi-precious amethyst, agate (agate), chalcedony and jasp stones are extracted. Magnificent purple amethyst crystals, personally extracted from the Aydıncık mountains, are processed by master hands in this workshop and turned into jewelry, ornaments and collectibles. Here, visitors can watch live the transformation adventure of the stones from their raw state into polished priceless jewels and learn the geological story of the stones. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features The center is located in the district center at an altitude of 830 meters.
