History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore Çandır Şah Sultan Hatun Culture House is a culture and craft center that carries the philanthropic female leadership legacy of Şah Sultan Hatun, the wife of Dulkadiroğlu ruler Şahruh Bey, who left his mark on the district, to the present day. This center is where district women make traditional handicrafts, rug weaving, lace and local food production (noodles, tarhana, molasses, dried buns); It is both an ethnography exhibition where local culture is kept alive and a living workshop where women's labor is brought into the economy.
