History and General Information / Local Legends and Folklore

  • •It is the immortal memory of Yozgatlı Kınalı Hasan, who went down in world war history when Captain Sırrı Bey, Commander of the 64th Infantry Regiment in the Battle of Çanakkale, asked about the henna in his hair and received a letter from his mother saying, "We apply henna to sacrificial rams, bridal girls and soldier sons as sacrifices for the country."
  • •In the park area, there is the statue of Kınalı Hasan, reliefs depicting the Çanakkale battles and inscriptions symbolizing the love of the homeland.
  • •In local narratives, it is told from generation to generation as the supreme symbol of the sacrifice of Turkish mothers to condemn their children and send them to the front for the defense of the homeland. Geographical Structure, Altitude and Natural Features
